She has published in the journal Headache, as well as numerous publications for headache patients. Sylvia has served as faculty at the professional trainings sponsored by the American Headache Society (AHS), and has presented research at their scientific meeting. She has also served as a national committee member for the American Council for Headache Education (ACHE) in their efforts to establish a national network for support groups for headache sufferers. Her ongoing challenge with patients is helping them tailor a relaxation program that meets their individual needs.
