Trigger Point Injections

Sometimes, there are very painful tender areas in the neck and certain areas of the scalp, particularly in the base of the skull close to the neck. If a long acting local anesthetic like Marcaine is used as a local injection at the tender site, many patients do very well. This treatment is offered at the clinic in selected cases.
