| Dr. Kailasam
is board certified in Internal Medicine, having completed
residencies at both Cook County Hospital in Chicago and
Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. Her association with the
Houston Headache Clinic began in 1994 when she participated
in clinical research involving the treatment of migraine
headache. Upon completing her residencies involving rotations
in emergency medicine, pulmonary and critical care,
neurology, and cardiology, she returned to the Clinic in 1998
as a full time physician.
Dr. Kailasam has been
involved in numerous clinical research and pharmaceutical
trials and has presented original research at the Scientific
Meeting of the American Headache Society (AHS).
In addition to her strong
interest in headache, Dr. Kailasam sees internal medicine
patients and is currently pursuing training in bariatric
medicine. Her interest in women's health issues include
osteoporosis and weight management. |
